U14s In Cheshunt League Cup Final Following a hard-fought win in the League Cup Semi-final match against Puma 2000 this morning, the club is pleased to inform all of U14s second final appearance in a major cup final this season (2008/09). Adelaide Hit Double County Cup Success Sunday 29th March will go down in Adelaide history as our U14's and U15's both won their AFA County Cup finals. Two excellent performances from all the boys involved saw the U14's overcome Waltham Abbey 2-1 in extra time and the Under 15's beat Welling United 2-0. Congratulations to the coaching teams and all involved. A huge crowd at each game saw players, parents and friends of the club from U9's all the way through. Thank you for showing your support. Under 15s finish runners up - 10/05/09 Congratulations to our under 15s who finished runners up in the Cheshunt Premier League for the second year in the row. This, along with winning the AFA County Cup, has meant the boys have enjoyed a successful season. Well done to all the players. TAYLOR AND JAMES PUT SOUTHGATE ADELAIDE ON THE MAP! After the selection rounds of the Rural Friendly League super team trials, we are thrilled to announce that our Goalkeeper TAYLOR MONTGOMERY and our midfield star JAMES FLINT have now made it into the final squad! This is a fantastic achievement as we were the only team in our division to have had succesful applicants, with the vast majority of candidates having come from the (highest) Super Division of the league - A massive WELL DONE to Taylor and James! It will take place at Grange Park Primary School, Worlds End Lane, N21 1PP from Monday 15th - Friday 19th February, 10am to 3pm and will cost £50. Each child will get a football and medal to keep as well as the chance to win other prizes. He formed SoccerKidz with professional footballer David Livermore, who has recently joined Barnet FC in League 2, and they will also be running evening and weekend courses throughout the year.
